Why Sea Glass?
I chose the name Sea Glass Clinical Services because it reflects something real: we’re all shaped by what we go through. Sea glass doesn’t start out smooth or polished—it gets that way after being tossed around, broken down, and reshaped over time. Same goes for us. You learn by doing, messing up, getting feedback, and trying again.
My job is to support that process—not with fluff or therapy speak, but with real, practical guidance that helps you grow into a more confident, grounded individual.
Whether you’re someone looking for a therapist, a clinician in need of supervision or just trying to figure out your next step, the same idea applies. Growth isn’t always neat or easy. But with the right support, you come out of it stronger, more grounded, and clearer about who you are.
About me
Hi, I’m Alyssa
I’m a licensed social worker with over ten years of experience, primarily working with children and families across a range of settings. I earned my MSW from Boston College, and later went on to complete my MPH at Boston University, because I’ve always been drawn to the bigger picture of how systems impact people’s lives.
What I love most about this work is helping people find their footing in the middle of complicated, often overwhelming situations. That’s really what led me to create Sea Glass Clinical Services; a space where I could offer support in a way that feels true to who I am.
My approach is relaxed, real, and collaborative. I’m not the type to nod quietly from behind a clipboard. I’ll be honest with you, break things down clearly, and walk alongside you without judgment. Whether you’re here for therapy, supervision, or just trying to figure out your next step, I’ll meet you where you’re at — and we’ll take it from there, together.
